We analysed vibration data of bearings from different public sources like Universities.
We concluded, as we anticipated, that we will have to collect ourselves vibration data from bearings which are running under real world conditions. For this reason, we had developed our own 8-channel, 24 bit data collection hardware. Our ADC board MM824 is in production and has been installed in specific test sites to validate its robustness since autumn. The mountainous geography of Switzerland offers certainly some challenges for a wireless connectivity!
